My mailing address is in Cross Village, though I actually am living in Bliss. My husband and I were born in Michigan and then went to Alaska in our early 20’s. We lived in Nome, were winters can be very long. We were there 36 years and came back to be near family for the time being. I appreciate the 4 distinct seasons Michigan offers. We spend as much time outside as we can during all seasons.
I was educated in Michigan, attending some college art classes in Lansing and Grand Rapids. After moving to Alaska I took painting, drawing, pastel, and pottery at the local community college. Previous pottery classes were in elementary and high school. I really enjoy making things out of clay.
My other hobbies include, knitting, spinning yarn, dog mushing, skiing – both downhill and cross-country.
