I was first introduced to pottery in a two week high school class rotation. I was captivated by the feel of the clay and the endless possibilities this medium provided. I further pursued pottery in college and enjoyed learning and improving my skills and technique. After moving into the work force, I lost touch with clay for years, then dabbled for short periods taking a class or seminar just to try to regain the skills that I had acquired. I now take classes more for studio time and as a sanity class just as a stress release. I haven't sold my work as such up to date but gave it to my family and friends as gifts. I now have been encouraged to sell my work so others will enjoy it also. | ||||||||
