This collection of poems includes a cycle of chants, "The Poets".  The poet introduces the book : These are homeless poems that have found a home with one another by the waters and in this chapbook. Some are quite old, others relatively recent. I hope they find a home with you.

This collection of poems and photographs from Kenya is especially dear to the heart given the current upheaval in Kenya.  It includes "Sunrise on the Masa Mara", which was originally published in Applachia, and the chant, "The People Are Walking".  From "The Masai dancers smell like honey" :  they snake into the big tent,/ chant lion song, dance lion/ dance. The Masai dancers/ smell like honey.......

This group of eleven poems includes "How to Make a 280 Pound Tattooed Bald Man Cry Like a Little Girl", a response to an expectant father's e-mail, and "Tell Me About the American Poets", a tribute to poets against the war.

This collection includes six otherwise unattached poems and the series: "Emails from the Cyberspace Love Affair Between a Particle and a Wave": "As inseparable as we are/ when they find me you collapse/ and disappear. Please/ explain this to me, your stubborn/ invisibility when I am everywhere everywhere/ they look for me........".  The fun photographs enhance the poetry.

These poems and photographs were written and taken during a pilgrimage to Spain, especially Lorca's Spain.  The book includes the powerful " I Was Not Home When They Came for You" and the humorous "The Butcher". Two weeks in Granada and another week in various other cities were certainly not enough to understand everything, but enough to be amazed at the resilence of the Spanish soul. 

Subtitled "a collection of poems and ruminations", this chapbook joins poems, which celebrate the love of gardening, and ruminations on such questions as: Why take life seriously?, Who is responsible?, and Truth or Fraud?.
