This young bobcat received a second chance at life when a motorist spooked a coyote carrying it while crossing a highway in Upper Michigan. The driver stopped and noticed the young animal still alive, so he transferred it to a local agency. It eventually found a home with a licnsed wildlife handler, Jan VanHoesen of Rogers City, Michigan. Jan graciously called me to see if I would be interested in sketching the animal.
