Part of a series I've titled 'Corporate Chickens'. I have a friend that has a backyard chicken coop and I've had a chance to observe the politics of the chicken world. Only one can rule the roost and that 'one' must be aggressive and ruthless to attain and maintain power. The strongest, most aggressive will win the day. Chickens do this based on instinct but how different is it really in the world of humans and where is it more apparent than in the corporate world? We may feel it is not the same because we think and have an agenda but deep down, maybe we are still running on instinct.
