The Poplar is a very common tree in much of North America this being Quaking or Trembling Aspen. As far as trees go, the Aspen is one of the feminine in terms of aesthetics. Often tall and slender having delicate leaves of a light nature and the gift of being able to make a pleasant shimmering sound in a gentle breeze. This one is somewhat confined and as if in defiance, it has forged up to an overlooking height -- thus the name Stretch.
